Come and join us for our May’s Community Dinner! It’ll be held on May 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. On the menu this month will be chicken cordon bleu (chicken stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese), includes potato casserole, mixed vegetables, salad, beverage, and dessert.
Everyone is invited to enjoy a home cooked meal, meet new folks and get reacquainted with perhaps someone you have not seen for a while. Evangelical United Methodist Church, 157 E. Water Street, Middletown, sponsors community dinners monthly, except for July, August, and December. Dinners are served from 4:30-6:30 p.m.; cost is $9.00 for adults; $3.00 for children under 12 years. We also offer curb pickup for those persons in our church family with mobility problems. To order a dinner, call 944-6181 between the hours of 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. on the day of the dinner and order the number of meals you need and choice of dessert (your choice of two different kinds). Meals may be picked up from 4:00-4:15 p.m. out front or you can pull into the entrance of the parking lot. A reserved sign will be placed for pickups. Tickets are not necessary; pay when your dinner is brought out. For more details, call 944-6181 from 9:00 a.m. until noon – Monday to Friday.
