Evangelical United Methodist Church in Middletown, PA, is happy to announce their new appointment in Pastor Seth Baluch, who will begin filling the pulpit on Sunday, July 5th.
Pastor Seth comes to us with a heart for ministry, a love for people, and a passion for building meaningful relationships within the church and community. Originally from Perryopolis and later making his home in the Harrisburg area, Pastor Seth enjoys spending time outdoors fly fishing and camping, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Penn State, and relaxing with prayer, reading, and tying fishing flies.
He and his wife, Ashley, along with their son, Ethan, and daughters, Lauren and Reesa, value family-centered adventures and spending quality time together. Pastor Seth also appreciates life’s simple joys—French toast, homemade apple pie, worship music, and fireside conversations.
Over the past four years, Pastor Seth has served as a worship leader at his home church and has also had the privilege of serving as a counselor at youth camp, helping young people grow in their faith and relationship with Christ. These experiences have helped shape his passion for ministry, discipleship, and sharing the love of Jesus with others.
Pastor Seth looks forward to joining our church family, growing together in faith, and leading with love, connection, and compassion as we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ and serve our community.
We are excited to welcome Pastor Seth and his family in the weeks ahead!
